Miles without stiles – lots of progress

Temporary lights 16th August – A40 by Weston Cross

On Monday, 16th August, temporary three way traffic lights will be installed on the A40 between the roundabout by the Weston Cross and School Lane.  This is for safety reasons whilst tree work is carried out on the boundary of Weston House that day.  Pedestrians are also advised not to use the footpath under the trees on the south side of the A40 between the bus stop next to the Old Shop and the entrance to Weston House and Weston Mews.

Dog nappers at work across Herefordshire

According to the Herefordshire Association of Local Councils, dog nappers are working in pairs across Herefordshire to identify properties from which their colleagues will attempt to steal beloved pets.  If you own a dog or know someone who does, watch out for new black cables tied to the fence of a dog-owner’s property or spray markings on the road outside such a property.
