Fancy saving someone’s life?

Have you ever wanted to learn something that sets you apart from other people?  A skill that could quite literally save a life?  We’re offering the opportunity for the residents of Weston-Under-Penyard to do just that with some free Defibrillator Training on Saturday, 23rd October.  Held at the Village Hall and run by the Heartbeat Trust charity, these short, interactive sessions will teach you all you need to know about understanding and operating the defibrillator units that can be found around the village.  There are two sessions lasting approximately 2 hours each, you can attend either one at 10am or at 2pm.  If you would like to book a place or would like more information, please contact Helen Barker on 01989 563696, or email at helenbarker370@btinternet.

Road collapse at Rudhall

The Parish Council continues to pursue this with Herefordshire Council and we are making slow progress.  The issue of the collapsed road is now on the list of things to be done, but we have no timescale.  The Parish Council remains concerned about the danger posed to vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and animals.  If you want to add your voice to the need to get this fixed, please fill in a Herefordshire Council report by clicking this link.  Hopefully we’ll get it moved up the list of things to be done.

Future Parish Council Meetings

Regular meetings are scheduled for 7th October, 4th November and 2nd December 2021 and for 13th January, 3rd February, 3rd March 2022.

Notice of meetings will be posted on notice boards and the agenda and all papers will be posted on this website.  Draft minutes will be posted as soon as they are ready.

Weston under Penyard Parish Council will next meet for a regular meeting on 7th October 2021 at 7.00 pm at the Village Hall.
